William F. Prieto
Chief Operating Officer
Out of high school Bill joined the United States Army. With a strong personal desire to serve his country he spent 3 years as a military combat engineer. Attending military schools such as the US Army Nuclear, Biological, Chemical School, Combat Leadership School, US Armorer School and Combat Lifesaver Course, Bill was trained in leadership, weapons, demolitions, and combat lifesaving techniques, above and beyond the typical combat engineer.
After his successful military stint, Bill went on to college. William rounded out his military education with formal studies in business, English and communications. Beginning at Jamestown Community College he transferred to State University of New York at Fredonia completing a B.S. in Communications with a 3.2 GPA in 1997.
Bill started his post academic career in advertising as a salesman with Tri-State Outdoor Media Group, Inc., the fifth largest billboard company in country at the time. During both his second and third year of employment he received the salesman of the year award; unheard of for such a new salesperson to the company and the industry. During his third year, he worked his way up to the position of Sales Manager. With 8 people under his command, he increased revenues by 30%, bringing the regional income to 2.1 million dollars. His experience in advertising and management has been instrumental to the both the establishment and growth of Advertising Advantage to date.
Bill has very extensive knowledge in Outdoor Advertising. From Leasing to Sales or Administration to Operations, William has worked efficiently in all positions within the industry. Currently in charge of operations and administration William has developed the metrics (minimum standards) to monitor his two departments with an emphasis on sales support and aesthetic postings. Creating systems to streamline finance, office and operational processes is an ongoing effort and throughout all of this he continues to develop the strategies and policies that will guide Advertising Advantage into the future.
Michael L. McVinney
Chief Business Development Officer
Michael is responsible for market research and market penetration by means of leasing and acquisitions. He takes a leading role in new development by coordinating engineers & contractors after he performs an in-depth cost analysis confirming that the project is worth the pursuit.
Michael has an in-depth knowledge of construction, development and real estate. He got his start in "Outdoor" right
Rose Mary Damond
Sales Executive
Rose Mary has found a wonderful opportunity that meets her career goals and objectives in sales at Advertising Advantage. She brings to the position over twenty years combined experience in sales, banking, retail, customer service, office, and management. She consistently maintains a proven sales record with the ability to work well both independently, and as part of a team. Rose Mary possesses excellent leadership and communication skills. Rose Mary enjoys the challenges this position offers, while recognizing her career objectives along the way. She is a dedicated, highly motivated professional.
She is looking forward to assisting Advertising Advantage in the development of their sales, and is very pleased to see the growth of sales since she began with the company. Rose Mary is eager to use her life, and career experiences to continue developing herself within the position.
Rose Mary also is a certified fitness instructor, with over twenty years of teaching experience. She currently teaches kickboxing, and various fitness classes. She holds a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do. Her discipline and commitment to fitness reflects on her dedication and commitment to her career at Advertising Advantage.
Jamie Albro
Operations Manager
Jamie started his outdoor career with Tri-State Outdoor in 1994. He was hired as billposter- Maintenance, but quickly showed his aptitude for outdoor and was promoted to construction-maintenance site supervisor. He was in charge of maintaining over 1000 billposting structures placed in 3 states. Jamie has been in direct charge of building many new outdoor advertising structures in his career.
Some of his builds include the four impressive structures located just east of the limestone exit on I-86. With “Outdoor” in his blood and a thirst for knowledge, Jamie joined the Advertising Advantage team in ’04. Here he is given the chance to continue learning more about the outdoor industry working hands on with state of the art displays. With the additions of the Tri-Vision displays and the digital display located in Erie, he is able to work with the latest in outdoor advertising. With over 15 years of experience working with outdoor, and a “Hands on” attitude, he safely climbs, repairs and posts these boards. His quest for perfection shows in the wrinkle free appearance of the advertising copy. So when you are driving down the road and see Jamie climbing around on your display, give him a “beep” to show you appreciate the effort.
William Cole
Sales Executive
William Cole is the newest member of our sales team here at Advertising Advantage. William brings a wealth of sales professionalism and management expertise garnered at two of America’s premier Fortune 500 companies. He began his business career as a sales representative for Philip Morris USA in the Erie Pa. market. He was subsequently promoted to Area Manager and worked both in the Pittsburgh Pa. and Cleveland Ohio markets. William also worked for Sprint where he used his expertise as a Distribution Partner Account Executive. While at Sprint William trained managers and sales associates for Wal Mart, Radio Shack and Best Buy. An outstanding sales performer William garnered national sales recognition while at Philip Morris USA and Sprint.
Active in the community William has been a volunteer for the United Way since 1999. He has served on campaign boards, worked as a Loaned Executive and been a Leadership Giver since 2002. William is also active in American Legion Post 700 where he has served 4years as 1st Vice Commander of the Sons of the American Legion.
William is a graduate of Penn State University and is an avid Nittany Lion supporter.
